Paul Carman is currently a Director of Sales Engineering at Intellitactics, Inc., a computer security software company based near Washington, D.C. He has degrees in Journalism, Technical Writing, and an MBA, with photography as a hobby.
Although photography plays a very important part in his life, Paul has never been motivated to charge for the photos he takes - it's always been more about providing people with pictures so they can see themselves how others see them - capturing the essence of an image - be it a portrait, a family gathering, or time with friends. The inspiration for Pictures From Home is an extension of this - making photos available (at absolutely no cost) to people who would value them even more than most.
Paul lives in Melbourne, Florida with his wife Cammie, his almost 2-year-old son Connor, a Border Terrier named Tater, and two cats, Chaplin (named for his mustache) and Axel (named for being found wrapped around a car axel).
Todd Turpin is currently a student at Carson Newman College in Jefferson City Tennessee. He is studying the Arts with an emphasis on Graphic Design and Photography. Since high school he has been very interested in art, but chose to pursue the military.
He spent 6 years as an Mechanic on the F-16 Fighter Jet and was deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. During his time in the Air Nation Guard he held several different civilian positions from many different backgrounds. He worked in a steel mill, for 2 different home builders doing home design, a government engineering firm, a healthcare staffing company, and even managed 240 condominiums on the east coast of North Carolina.
With his experience in many different fields and his commitment to his country he is excited to be able to establish a program of giving back to his country and community. Todd lives in Dandridge Tennessee with his girlfriend and his dog. He has two wonderful sons ages 5 and 3. He loves drawing and photography and above all enjoys spending time with his family, including God.
